Currently, an alert is available for:
- Dibutyl Phthalate, Diethyl Phthalate, and Dimethyl Phthalate: On November 19, 2002 the
CIR Expert Panel announced its decision to not reopen the safety assessment of the Dibutyl
Phthalate group of ingredients. The Panel asked that the summary of the newly available
data and a discussion of the issues be prepared for their review. That was done and the
summary
 was approved on February 7, 2003. Interested persons are invited to comment on or
before April 11, 2003.
- SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate), Sodium Laureth Sulfate,
and Ammonium Laureth Sulfate
